The garden centre had an identity crisis. For the previous 30 years it had been known as Yarnton Nurseries and the name was firmly embedded in the minds of the local community. The attempt to rebrand it as Oxford Garden and Shopping Village had resulted in confusion and had alienate the local community. The brand messaging was cold, corporate and had no character. The centre was unloved by customers and staff. Our brief was to create a new look and brand narrative that would re-connect it to its location and the local community and importantly raise staff moral.
Christmas is arguably retail's biggest selling period. For Yarnton Home & Garden the biggest draw for customers at this time of year is Santa's grotto. We produced this video to promote Christmas at Yarnton and of course sell tickets for the grotto. We generated a huge response on social media and Santa's grotto was sold out in just a few days. Video is one of the most powerful tools in the marketing tool box.
Yarnton Home & Garden commissioned Fletcher Rose to create a video to promote Yarnton Magic Garden. The brief was simple, capture the joy of playing in the Magic Garden. They say never work with children and animals but this bunch were a real pleasure to work with!
To promote their Bee Festival Yarnton asked us to make a short video. As usual we applied our creative verve and made this sweet bite size video.
