The garden centre had an identity crisis. For the previous 30 years it had been known as Yarnton Nurseries and the name was firmly embedded in the minds of the local community. The attempt to rebrand it as Oxford Garden and Shopping Village had resulted in confusion and had alienate the local community. The brand messaging was cold, corporate and had no character. The centre was unloved by customers and staff. Our brief was to create a new look and brand narrative that would re-connect it to its location and the local community and importantly raise staff moral.
